Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Toolmux, including the Toolmux CLI, the
hosted OAuth broker at api.toolmux.com, and this website.
Toolmux is open source software for connecting local command-line and
agent workflows to provider tools.
Use of Toolmux
You are responsible for how you configure and use Toolmux, the provider accounts you connect, and the commands or workflows you run. You must comply with all laws, provider terms, workspace policies, and API policies that apply to your use.
Google and other provider services
When you connect Google or another provider, you authorize Toolmux to perform actions that you request through the CLI, MCP tools, or workflows. Provider services remain governed by their own terms and policies, including Google's API terms and user data policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Toolmux to access accounts, files, workspaces, or services without authorization.
- Do not use Toolmux to scrape, extract, or bypass provider credentials or session material except through documented Toolmux setup flows.
- Do not interfere with the hosted OAuth broker, GitHub Pages site, provider APIs, or other users.
- Do not use Toolmux in a way that violates provider policy, applicable law, or the rights of others.
Open source license
The Toolmux source code is provided under the license published in the Toolmux GitHub repository. These Terms do not limit rights granted by that open source license for the source code itself.
Service availability
Toolmux and the hosted OAuth broker may change, suspend, or stop operating at any time. We may update provider support, OAuth behavior, workflows, command behavior, and documentation as the project evolves.
No warranties
Toolmux is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. You are responsible for reviewing commands before running them, backing up important data, and complying with your organization's policies.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toolmux's maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of Toolmux.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as Toolmux changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
